The sun was shining and the crowd gathered to help us celebrate our cultural diversity. We have a lot of people to thank, in particular Dept Families, Fairness and Housing and the Rural City of Wangaratta, in partnering with us making the celebration possible, and Mayor Dean Rees, who opened the event with Welcome to Country. Thank you to all the stall holders and entertainers - Ambulance Vic, Central Vic Lion Team, FRV, 1st Yarrunga Scouts Group, Fusion Queens Bollywood, Giant Lawn Games, Giggle ‘n’ Scoop Ice Cream, In The Groove Drumming, Komal Henna, LINE, Mermadia Braids, Min Min Kitchen, NESAY, Nice Kurry Place, Red Cross, Red Medical, RCoW, SES, St. Johns Aged Care Fijian nurses, Sebastiano Nicolosi, Shani & Shali Jayawardane, TU Vietnamese, VACCA, VicPol, Wangaratta Entertainment Jumping Castles, Wangaratta Pipe Band. A big thank you also goes to all our Volunteers, who helped with set-up, manning and dismantling the stalls and other equipment, and to the Community who joined us in the celebration. We are one world, one people; we share our space with each other.
